Keepin' it REAL!

So this is the flip side of our wonderful beach trip (below)! Uguh! (sometimes it bothers me everything in blogger - land seems so perfect, ya know?!) Yes, I did take a picture of my screaming child..... just wanted to share the joy! When we went to the beach she got s-p-o-i-l-e-d sleeping in the pack-n-play by our bed.... Now we're back to sleep training. Poor thing. Didn't we just do this?!When we left home she loved her crib...... Yikes!

Ugh is right. It shouldn't take long, though! I can tell she is really upset--tears down her neck, runny nose...Hugs to sweet Kate--and to you!

This looks like Tim when it was time to eat after he got his sand and water table. Now I don't feel so bad taking pictures of him during his tantrum. Were you thinking the same thing I was?
"This will be great for the blog?!"

Chelle,

That is one of the things I LOVE about you... you keep it REAL! Oh, I hate that you are having to 'crib train' or 'sleep train' again! I guess you can't blame her for enjoying being next to mommy and daddy every night!!

I hope the 2nd time on 'sleep training' goes by QUICKLY and with as little pain as possible!!

Hang in there and I hope you guys had a wonderful time at the beach!!

Love,

Cyndi

Yuck, yuck, but I so appreciate the truth. The real life is not all cute pictures and adorable moments, and it's refreshing to read that too.

Hope the training goes well and quickly!

Oh, and if it makes you feel any better.....we're kind of re-training too. We were kind of lenient on vacation, now we're back home in the real world with bedtimes and no coke.

Joy all around!

Hmmm...even with tears and her face all scrunched up, Kate is still a little cutie! As we grow more impatient for our referral, I think it's easy to think of all the good things and ignore the difficult times that are sure to come. Thanks for the reminder because it will make those times easier if we're prepared for (or at least expecting) them.

Way to go Chelle....its called authentic parenting:) hope she loves her crib again soon...and I agree that blog world can be a bit deceiving in that we all put our best foot forward and have fun posting the positive aspects of life/parenting! This is good because we all have a screamer at least once a day right? Hang in there. We are hoping to go to the beach sometime. Being from Alaska makes the beach sound soooooo fun!

Oh, that picture is hilarious! It's always hard to get them back on a schedule!

You commented on my blog about my new lens. I have a Nikon D50, and the new lens is a 50 mm. I also have an 18-200 mm lens. I seriously have no idea what I'm doing! I just put it on auto and shoot. :)
