Wii finally caved

Tim's the cultured one with 13 something years of music lessons ~ but I got to tell ya, if learning the scales was as fun as Guitar Hero, I might have stuck with it a little longer than the ummmmm, couple months that I did.....

Hey, this has got to count for some sort of home school music credit, right?!!!

I am all for that homeschool music credit. I am trying to count it as music when the girls sing to themselves while doing their work, and art appreciation when they listen to iTunes! Haha!
Can I count carrying laundry up and down two flights of stairs as PE for the girls?????

Umm yeah! If that doesn't count for music, what does?? I can so see Callie in a band! :)

I say it should definitely count!! How fun (and educational, of course)!

That's a cool title! I definitely think it could count for a school music credit.

Looks like fun. We don't have guitar hero, but we do have the wii and we love it. My dad even bought one for my mom's birthday last month because they liked ours so well.

We'll have to check into guitar hero too.

Go Wii! We love ours too. We don't have guitar hero either, it may be our next purchase. I see a bright furture for Callie in the music industry. Rock on Callie!

How COOL does Callie look? We are 'researching' getting a Wii for their birthdays instead of a big birthday bash! I have gotten advice that this would be a wise decision- spend the $$ on the Wii instead!! Wherever did you find yours? They are sold out everywhere that we call! Any advice on where to buy one would be appreciated. :)

Guitar hero looks fun! We have played bowling and we love it!!

I hope the Regal family enjoys the new toy!!

Hey Cyndi,

Believe it or not, Tim found the Wii at Blockbuster inside Kroger! He went in to return a movie and saw they were selling them (new). He did get the last one they had, though. He then went to the Rocky Face Wal-Mart and found Guitar Hero there..... the guy helping him said they had Wii's in stock. (???) I'd certainly call first! Hope you find one! Great idea to do that over a big bithday bash!

Chelle,

Thanks for the update on where Tim found the Wii! Who knew the Blockbuster in Kroger would have them??!!

Great news... Marisa picked one up for us on Monday, from the Wal-Mart in Calhoun. She got 1 of the last 2 they had on the off chance we would decide YES on the Wii and NO to the birthday bash! Well, we are getting it from her tomorrow night and giving it to Austin for his birthday on Thursday- to share with the entire family of course!

But, the kids have NO IDEA that we are planning on doing this for them. Your post helped nudge us in that direction! Thanks for the advice on where to find one!

I will have to let you know how it goes. Guitar hero looks like so much fun, too!

Have a blessed day!

Love,

Cyndi
