Rewards for a home school mom....

Callie used to HATE to read. Today after she finished reading her assignment out loud to me, she curled up in the corner to continue reading ahead by herself ~ now a common occurrence around here! I'm a happy mommy!

Our son has become such a bookworm lately. After his teacher last year at school told us that he was behind in reading. He's now in the top of his class in reading and reading at 2 grade levels above the norm! I love it when I see him curled up with a book like your daughter is here!

That is a precious picture! What a blessing to see your child, that you have taught for several years now, curl up in the corner with a book on her lap. What a victory for you!

Chelle, you have always amazed me with your patience and gentle spirit. I know you must be so proud to see the rewards of your labor of love. Thanks for sharing and I, too, am celebrating with you!

That is great! What a precious picture and a mature action on her part to continue the reading on her own. I love her little toes sticking out!
